Made from durable chrome vanadium, FastCap’s® TaperLock Bit Holder accepts both wire
detent and power-drive bits and holds them snugly in place until you release them. It
prevents bits from falling out of the recess because the bit holder wasn’t strong enough.
A simple one-hand operation allows you to insert the bit in the magnetic holder while the
collar locks it in place. To remove, just slide the collar away from the drill and pull the insert
bit out. No more accidental release by driving too deep and bottoming out the bit holder on
the work surface. Imported.

Use hex bits with your socket wrench
When you really need to put some torque on a screw, or you need to work in tight quarters,
these can be a lifesaver. Just pop the adapter onto your 1/4” or 3/8” drive ratchet and slip in
a 1” long hex power bit. (Don’t use ball detent bits in this. They’ll be stuck forever!) Now
you can choose either magnetic or non-magnetic! Please note that the magnetic holders are

If you drive a lot of 2” and longer screws, this is going to be a lifesaver. You see, long screws
have a habit of wobbling a bit until they are started in the wood. Usually you just guide the
screw with your free hand, but that isn’t always practical, and it can wear the hide right off
your fingers if you aren’t careful. This ingenious magnetic bit holder has an extra sliding
sleeve around it. When you drive a screw, simply extend the sleeve to keep the screw from
wobbling. As the screw advances, the sleeve automatically slides back up the bit holder’s
shaft so it is perfectly positioned for the next screw. Imported.
