Most Euro-style hardware is designed for installation using a PoziDrive screwdriver, which
looks very much like the familiar Phillips recess. While a Phillips bit will work, using a
genuine PoziDrive bit will greatly improve fastener performance. Phillips and PoziDrive bits
both have four “wings,” but PoziDrive “wings” are parallel and resist cam-out much like our
Square Drive. The “wings” of a Phillips bit are tapered and tend to slip. PoziDrive screws can
be easily identified by the four extra hash marks between the “cross.” Shaft is 4” L, with 8”
overall length. Imported.
