Bessey Auto-Adjustable Toggle Clamps
Bessey Auto-Adjustable clamps are the best thing since sliced bread! Well, that may be a
stretch, but they are a huge improvement over the competitor’s version. Auto-adjust toggle
clamps automatically adjust to the size of the part, which eliminates time consuming manual
adjustment of the clamping spindle and improves safety conditions. They have a set-andforget feature that results in the same amount of pressure, regardless of the thickness of
material being clamped, or you can easily adjust to increase or decrease the amount of
pressure needed for the application from 25 to 550 lbs. Counterclockwise rotation will
increase the pressure, while clockwise rotation will decrease the pressure. Maximum holding
capacity is almost 700 lbs. The removable plastic clamp pad is 7/8” diameter. The hardened
steel body is nickel plated for corrosion resistance, and the ergonomic handles are made from
polypropylene and thermo-plastic for heat resistance. The base plate holes accommodate M6
or 1/4” fasteners.
Bessey has added two new auto-adjustable toggle clamps to the product line, for those of
you who need a vertical base mount or an in-line mount. They both function the same way as
the originals; just mount them to your workbench to fit your needs. Imported.

A special high tensile, woven polyester ensures this 23’ L strap will not stretch and is so
dense that wood glues do not penetrate the material easily, which prolongs the life of this
tool. The strap draws up from both sides, providing maximum pressure equally on all sides.
Use Vario corner clips, which have twin-tilting pressure pads that auto-adjust from 60º
to 180º to apply pressure on the corners and angles. Four Vario corner clips are standard
equipment and they are available in six packs for additional needs. An integrated rewind
mechanism operates by a cranking handle that eliminates tangling and damage to the strap.
