Easy Wood Tools have taken a complicated (and possibly dangerous) power tool and removed
the guess work of the setup. With just one chuck and six easy to install, interchangeable sets
of jaws, you can change out the system to accommodate and securely hold about any project
piece in 30 seconds or less. The patent pending Easy Jaws™ uses a snap-lock technology
requiring no screws or wrenches. Simply take the supplied jaw key, depress the snap-lock in
the master jaw, and each jaw will slide right out. Grab the next size you need, and slide it in
place until you hear the snap. The rounded jaw corners prevent knuckle injury during setup.
The Easy Chuck’s Zoom Ring allows you to lightly grab your workpiece and then tighten it with
the supplied chuck key. Easy Chuck is supplied with a 1/8” jaw key for jaw release and setting
the spindle screw plus a 5/16” hex T-handle for final jaw tightening. The 4” chuck is offered
in three spindle threads with no internal adapter. The spindle adapter has 1-1/4” – 8tpi female
threads to 1” – 8tpi male threads for a 1-1/4” spindle lathe, and is supplied with a double set
screw so you can run the lathe in reverse for sanding. Wrenches are included for assembly.
The aluminum faceplates are etched with their thread size so you know you are grabbing the
right one. Optional Lexan® chip deflectors keep the shavings headed for the floor, not on you.
Spend more time making your project and less time setting up your lathe.
