Epoxy-Coated Gutter Screws

Put them up to stay - the easy way!
These 7” screws are designed for 5” gutters when used as replacements for gutter spikes or
for new installations. As a replacement, the existing holes in the gutter may be reused – the
screws will thread nicely into the old nail holes. For new construction, you’ll need to use the
screw itself and a hammer to tap a clearance hole through the gutter at each screw location.
Use a ferrule or block of wood as a backup to avoid crushing the gutter. When the gutter is
raised into position, each screw will already be in proper position. Our gutter screws have
a #3 Square recess, a painted head to match the gutter and a galvanized shank to minimize
corrosion. Two standard packages are available, each including an equal number of gutter
screws, gutter ferrules and one #3 driver bit for an electric or cordless drill.

Epoxy-coated steel
Log home builders first used this innovative fastener to anchor one log to the next. Deck
builders, landscapers, contractors and others needing an easy-driving, heavy-duty fastener
have adopted it as their own. Extra-deep threads maximize holding power in softwoods, and
the large heads provide plenty of clamping force. Select a screw that is approximately 2”
longer than the thickness of the material you are fastening through for best results. These
screws have a hex head, a 3/16” dia. shank, 2” of thread and use a 5/16” hex nut driver.
Steel epoxy-coated TimberLok screws have a slippery black epoxy coating for corrosion
resistance, but will likely discolor when used in Redwood or Western Red Cedar.
