Lock washers (or more properly, helical spring-lock washers) look as if they are broken but
are actually very short coil springs that help prevent loosening due to vibration. In general,
if a bolted joint is supposed to clamp materials together, adding a lock washer is worthwhile.

These are perfect for mounting drawer pulls and other hardware items that do not require
significant strength. The shank of this 8-32 truss-head machine screw is scored at 3/4”, 1”, 1-1/4”
and 1-1/2” so the unneeded length is easily broken off, leaving a clean thread. Head diameter
is .95 – 1.12”, thickness is .364 – .384”. Imported.
