These passivated stainless screws provide corrosion resistance and are great for use with
pressure treated wood or premium materials like Redwood and Western Red Cedar. The
nonstandard shallow #1 recess of these trim head screws requires caution to avoid cam out.
Use Pilot holes in most materials. Note: Nonstandard head diameters. Imported.

Superior corrosion resistance for seaside construction

If you are building in a seaside environment, you need to use 316-grade stainless steel
fasteners to achieve adequate corrosion resistance. These screws not only meet that
requirement, but they also feature the easy-to-use star drive, or six-lobe-recess design, to
virtually eliminate cam-out. The difference between star drive and Square Drive is largely a
matter of personal preference, but both offer superior performance! These Screws feature a
unique “four-corner” thread that greatly reduces driving torque. Perfect for pressure treated
lumber and hardwoods, such as Mahogany and Ipe. Imported.
