a through-bolted connection with the speed of a LOK™ fastener with no predrilling required.

Bolts have a big advantage over screws in many applications: joints don’t depend upon threads
cut into the wood for their strength. Galvanized bolts offer some corrosion resistance and
can be used for indoor applications or arid environments. For water and especially salt-water
applications, stainless steel should be used. Made in Taiwan.

FastenMaster ® LedgerLok™ Ledger Fasteners

LedgerLok™ fasteners are designed to attach a deck ledger board to a house without
predrilling. These heat-treated screws provide higher shear values than traditional 1/2” lags. A
proprietary multi-coat finish is guaranteed not to rust for the life of your project, even in ACQ
treated lumber (saltwater applications excepted). 5/8” dia. washer head prevents the fastener
from countersinking into the wood. Use a 5/16” hex nut driver. LedgerLok meets ICC AC233.
LedgerLOK should be installed using an impact driver or high torque, 1⁄2” variable speed drill
(at least 18V if cordless). Choose the proper length LedgerLOK so that threads fully engage the
rim material. Bring washer flush to the ledger- do not countersink. Not for use in masonry or
concrete. Made in USA.
