FastCap® FastEdge Self-Adhesive Edge Banding

Peel, apply, burnish, trim - you’re done!
This great pressure-sensitive, adhesive-backed edge banding is fast, easy and eliminates
the mess associated with unglued and hot-melt backed banding. Simply cut the band to
approximate length, peel the backing and stick it in place. Burnish the banding to ensure
a good bond, then trim it to size using a router, knife or the FastEdge Trimmer. FastEdge
banding uses an acrylic adhesive that increases bond strength as it cures (maximum strength
is reached in seven days!). It is totally waterproof and withstands temperatures of −30ºF to
250ºF. Thickness with adhesive is .023”; without adhesive is .018”. Unfinished wood veneers
may be stained and finished to match the rest of the workpiece.

In just one pass you can sand the sharp edges of melamine, edge banding, plywood or
hardwoods with the Fast Break handheld sanding block. These unique sanding blocks
are shaped to sand both edges of doors or shelves at the same time, cutting your work in
half. You can even store extra sandpaper in the handle! Fast Break handles materials to 1”
thickness, while the Fast Break XL handles thicknesses from 3/4” to 2-3/8”. Fast Break XL
requires two pieces of sandpaper, whereas the Fast Break needs only one. Sandpaper is
available in 10 packs of 80 grit and 180 grit. Fast Break is imported.
