GRASS® FACE-FRAME HINGES
Grass® TEC 864, 108º One-Piece Face-Frame Hinges
A
One piece hinges are convenient but generally don’t offer much in the way of adjustability.
Grass’ TEC 864 hinge is different. It has cam side-to-side and depth adjustment, a 108º swing
and is now available with built-in soft-close as well as self-closing. Height may be adjusted
at the mounting screw. Simply loosen the mounting screw, adjust and re-tighten. The Grass
TEC 864 uses a 10 mm deep, 35 mm (1-3/8” approx.) mounting-cup hole, drilled 2.5 mm from
the edge of the door. Use two 6 x 5/8” (0605-FPN) Phillips mounting screws to the attach
hinge to door. Use one 8 x 5/8” (0805-PSL) pan-head screw to attach the hinge to the frame.
Purchase screws separately.

Mounts independently of the hinge
Now you can add soft-close to your kitchen cabinets without having to attach them to
the hinges (easy retrofitting!). The UniSoft door closure mounts in the corner and can be
adjusted for closing rate with the turn of a Phillips or Pozi Drive screw, or even manually. A
brushed nickel-finish plastic blends in well with most existing hardware. It works on faceframe cabinets on all door overlays and with frameless cabinets on full-door overlays. Easy
to mount a front bumper cushion to the door for quiet closing. One pan-head 6 x 3/4 screw
included for each soft-close installation. Imported.
