Machined heads provide greater accuracy in these heavy duty combination squares. The cast
zinc heads are electronically coated with a black chip resistant finish to prevent corrosion.
The steel blades have permanently stamped graduations in both English and metric for
JL-406EM and JL-420EM. JL-406EM has graduations of 1/8,” 1/16” and 1/32,” while the
JL-420EM has 1/8” and 1/16”. The JL-400 has English-only graduations in 1/8,” 1/16” and
1/32”. For durability, these combination squares feature a hardened screw-in scriber that
won’t fall out and a reversible head with a lock bolt and steel screw. The level vial is made
from durable acrylic.
