Whether you prefer metric or standard, R-to-L or L-to-R, flatback or story tape, FastCap
has the perfect tape to fit your needs. Choose from the old standby 16’ and 25’ standard
measuring tapes. Don’t want to convert to metric anymore? Metric/standard tapes are
available in 12’, 16’ and 25’, too! If you sometimes read right-to-left and sometimes left-toright, then a reverse tape measure would be convenient. They’re easy to read from either
side and come in 5m metric and 16’ and 25’ standard. Reverse True 32 metric has markings
every 32 mm for you cabinetmakers. In addition, there’s the Pro Carpenter with auto-lock
and the Story Pole for those of you who like to write on your measure. There’s also a flatback
for those irritated by a curved blade that is difficult to read and mark accurately. Each tape
measure has a rugged, compact casing with a built-in pencil sharpener and a lever action
belt clip. Blades are 1” W (except FSC-4032 is 5/8”) and have high-contrast marking visibility
and dual-locking systems. The side of each tape measure case has an erasable note pad.

Turn your tape into a builder’s square
O
Don’t stop your work to reach for your square. Now you have one attached to your tape
measure. The base is 3”W for double stud layout, there are marks for 1-1/2” single studs; 22.5º,
45º and 90º markings; and notches of 1-1/2” and 3-1/2” for ripping boards down to 2x2s and
2x4s. There is even an erasable notepad to write down dimensions you don’t want to forget.
It’s all in bright yellow to read the markings easier and attaches with self-adhesive patch to
most any 16’ or 25’ tape measures with dimensions of 3” x 3” or less. Available separately
or already attached to an FSC-4031 FastCap Tape Measure. May also be used as a small
individual square and easily fits into a pocket.

Don’t you just hate it when you pull out the tape to measure and before you get a chance to
read it, it slides back into the case? Komelon® has solved your dilemma. There is no need to
slide the lock button to maintain the blade position. The patented self-lock feature keeps the
blade at whatever length you pull out until you hit the retract button. The Big John comes
in a petite (relatively speaking) case for its 35’ L. Sorry, no self-lock on this big boy; but the
blade is nylon coated for corrosion resistance. Imported.
