Truing and Angle Set
With this unique tool (TOR-TT50), you can true and dress your grindstone exactly round and
flat. It mounts and locks instantly on the Tormek Universal Support. The tool is guided by the
supplied Universal Support, which also guides the jigs. This ensures that the stone surface is
always parallel to the tool fitting the jig. The patented angle set makes sure you get the right
angle from 10º to 75º on the edge of your tool. AngleMaster works on wheels from 6” to 10”.

We’ve all tried sharpening a drill bit freehand. It’s next to impossible due to the complex
geometry of a bit point. Tormek’s Drill Bit Sharpening Jig attachment makes sharpening a snap
when used in conjunction with the Tormek Sharpening System. The jig creates a four-facet point
for ideal cutting performance along with optimal point and clearance angles to match specific
drilling requirements. The water-cooled system is gentle on the steel so that it doesn’t overheat
it or create micro cracks. Set it at any point angle between 90º and 150º. It works on drills from
3 mm to 22 mm. Imported.

The Tormek® Original Grindstone has evolved over the years to offer the best combination
of efficient steel removal, smooth surface finish and a long life. This stone efficiently cuts
all types of tools and steel qualities, including HSS. It is delivered with the TOR-T8 model
(TOR-SG250) and with the TOR-T3 model (TOR-SG200). The unique composition of the stone,
together with the Stone Grader (TOR-SP650 at right), gives you two different cutting actions
in one stone. The Stone Grader polishes the surface of the grindstone from its normal 220 grit
to a finish that works like a 1,000-grit stone. This is a great advantage, since you can do the
fine sharpening* with the same setting of the jig as used for the initial shaping* of the tool. The
Original Grindstone is the ideal choice when you want both efficient steel removal and fine
finish from the same stone over a wide variety of materials, from carbon steel to high-speed

Tormek® Blackstone Silicon has been developed for shaping and sharpening* HSS and exotic
alloyed steels. It can also touch up tungsten carbide. It does not offer faster steel removal
on ordinary carbon steel. The combination of abrasive hardness, shape and grain size is
optimized to work efficiently at the Tormek system’s low RPM. Its faster material removal is
an advantage, especially when shaping tools with a large bevel surface where the grinding
pressure is limited (planer blades and woodturning skews). The 220 grit size is the same as the
Tormek Original Grindstone and can be altered to work like a 1,000 grit stone with the Stone
Grader (TOR-SP650). Thanks to its sharp and relatively small grains, the Blackstone Silicon
removes hard steel efficiently, even at low grinding pressure. The Blackstone Silicon also offers
exceptional wear resistance. It can even touch up tungsten carbide, where the tool already has
