BaseCoper Base Molding Guide

Base coping made easy
EasyCoper Tool Co. Inc. has done it again! Only this time, you can cut baseboards, not crown
molding, with the BaseCoper. Simply miter the baseboard in the normal manner. Place
the BaseCoper on top of the baseboard, allowing the molding to be visible through the
opening of the BaseCoper. Secure the BaseCoper to the work piece with a clamp. Extend the
BaseCoper beyond the edge of the work surface and use your jig saw and the Bosch T1190BO
(Part # RBB-B119) blade to follow the profile of the molding. The BaseCoper provides a flat
surface for your jig saw to ride on and keeps it at the correct angle. For baseboards taller
than 5-1/2”. you will need to shift the BaseCoper from one side to the other to complete the
full height of the baseboard. A larger clamp may also be necessary.
