LU85 ultimate chop saw blade for glass smooth finish cuts!
You’ll get glass smooth finish cuts when you put this blade on your table, radial arm or chop
saw. A special low clearance tooth grind (notice the grinding marks on the plate) reduces
power requirements while maintaining plate stiffness for precision cuts. This blade should
not be used for deep cuts or ripping because of the minimal kerf. Alternate top bevel grind,
10º hook, .116” kerf, .098” plate. Imported.

Freud’s® Fusion blade sets a new standard for combination blades, in fact it sets a new
standard for all saw blades! Its new Hi-ATB (Alternate Top Bevel) tooth geometry and
double side grind has virtually eliminated chipping and splintering of the top and bottom
surfaces. A new vibration dampening polymer-filling in the expansion slots combined with
advancements in plate stiffening and tensioning, and brazing methods helps it provide an
exceptionally smooth cut surface finishes in both ripping and crosscutting operations. It is
ideal for ripping hardwoods from 3/8” to 1-1/2” thick and crosscutting hardwood, veneered
plywood and laminated materials from 3/4” to 3-1/2” thick, depending upon blade diameter.
Fusion blades have Freud’s exclusive, tough, nonstick Perma-SHIELD® coating to reduce pitch
buildup and heat buildup caused by friction and blade drag. The FFP-0410 steel plate is .098”
thick with a .126” wide kerf and an 18º hook angle. P-410T has a .087” plate with a kerf of
.091” and 18º hook angle. Imported.

Deep gullets carry away “stringy” chips from ripping, while closely spaced teeth are for
crosscutting hardwood, softwood or plywood. “Anti-Kickback” design, four alternate top
bevel and one raker tooth grind, 10º hook, .126” kerf, .087” plate. Imported.
