Off-center mounting holes? Never again!
Have you ever drilled hinge-screw pilot holes and then discovered that they were off-center
when you went to install the screws? These self-centering drill-bit guides prevent that.
The nosepiece bevel centers itself in the hardware’s countersink and retracts as drilling
pressure is applied so that the bit drills a perfectly centered pilot hole. Simply loosen a
setscrew to replace the drill bit. Replace the spring by unscrewing the hex-drive shank from
the knurled body. All drill guides have 1/4” hex shanks for use in quick-change chucks. Shelf
pin drill guides fit standard shelf pin drilling jigs. The Euro drawer-slide drill guide has the
proper nosepiece to fit the mounting holes on Grass drawer guides, as well as those of other
manufacturers.

Have you ever drilled a hole for hinges or drawer slides only to find that they are off center
and the screw head didn’t seat properly? It happens to the best of us and can be avoided by
using a Make-it-Snappy® Self-Centering Drill Guide Bit Set. The five-piece set includes one
each: 5/64”, 7/64”. 9/64”, 11/64”, and 13/64” centering guides and drill bits. Smaller threepiece set includes one each: 5/64”, 7/64”, 9/64” centering guides and drill bits. While holding
the hinge plate in place, simply press the guide into the hinge-plate mounting hole and push
to begin drilling. The spring-loaded guide retracts as pressure is applied and the drill bit
advances. Drill bits are replaceable when dull; Simply use the 1/8” Allen wrench to loosen
the bit, insert a sharp drill bit and retighten with the Allen wrench. A 1/4” hex shank fits into
the Make-it-Snappy drill chuck.
