Phillips® ACR® Bits
Even die-hard Square Drive woodworkers need to remove
Phillips screws occasionally. When that happens, Phillips
ACR is the only way to go. Ribs on the driver tips improve
the grip and help prevent cam out. Note that the screw
sizes listed below are not absolute. The overlap between
#2 and #3 bit sizes is due to the variation in screw head
styles and the amount of material available for the recess.

A Word on Driver Bits
Depending on the driver size, bits are available in lengths from 1” to 6”. Note that
1” L wire detent bits are designed exclusively for use in magnetic bit holders;
longer ball detent bits fit any bit holder using the standard 1/4” hex ball detent
design. Do not use ball detent bits in standard magnetic bit holders designed for
wire detent bits. The ball detent causes them to become permanently stuck!
Don’t ask us how we know that.

It’s amazing how often a product is assembled in such
a manner that major disassembly is the only way to get
access to the one fastener standing between you and
success. These nifty, ball ended bits fit standard hex recess
fasteners but allow the driver bit to access the recess up
to 25º off axis. Imported. Note: The nature of the ball tip
reduces driver-bit strength!
